Frequently Asked Questions

Please feel free to contact me if your question isn't answered here!

How is shipping calculated?

Shipping is automatically calculated at checkout based on the weight of the items in your order and the destination of the package.  These rates are determined by the delivery companies (USPS, FedEx, etc) and we do not make any money from them.  When you're buying stickers, you have the option to check out with a "stamped envelope"– this method does not include tracking, but is significantly cheaper than those with tracking.

UPS is intentionally disabled for international shipping.  They were showing customers a cheaper shipping option than other carriers, then turning around and slapping them with a "brokerage fee" before they would deliver the parcel.  This resulted in many confused emails from customers asking why they owed more money.  The other companies have their brokerage fees included in the initial price.  This is a shady business practice and I won't be enabling them on my site unless they change it!

I'm being asked for import taxes!  What do I do?

It is best to follow the instructions included on the request for dues.  Per my shop policy, customers are responsible for any import taxes or tariffs put in place by their country of residence.  Please make sure you are aware of these before you place an order!

What's the deal with UK shipping?

As of April 2025, I've decided to resume shipping to the UK.  I’m a small, US-based sole proprietor, so I’m not registered to collect UK VAT directly.  This means your package may be subject to VAT and a postal handling fee upon arrival.  Please be aware of this when placing an order!

I uninstalled [Instagram, x, etc].  How will I know when shop updates happen?

I have an email list, linked here, that I use ONLY to let people know about upcoming shop updates, or events that I'm part of (such as conventions or gallery shows).  I'll never spam you!

Can I get a tattoo of your work?

Unless otherwise stated, I am fine with people getting tattoos of my work as long as credit is given (for example, if you post photos of it online)!  So many wonderful people have offered to pay me for permission to use my design as a tattoo.  While I think a payment system would be too difficult to enforce, I've opened up a virtual tip jar for such occasions.  Please do check it out if you feel so inclined! <3

Are you open for tattoo commissions?

I am currently hesitant to take tattoo commissions, mainly because I am not a tattoo artist myself.  Tattooing is a completely different medium, and many of the things that are easy to do in pen and ink may be a lot more difficult to recreate in tattoo form (I'm thinking of stars, for instance).  Unfortunately, I feel that I lack the tattooin' knowledge that would allow me to create custom designs that will translate well as a tattoo!

Can you combine two of my orders?

Yes!  As long as neither order has already been fulfilled, two orders can be merged together to save on shipping.  Just use the contact form and we will be in touch!
